A Global Journey Through Art
Chie Tokuyama is a Japanese artist whose creative journey spans continents and cultures. Originally from Japan, she has lived in Osaka, Fukuoka, Hokkaido, and Tokyo, and spent a decade in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, and since since 2023, has continued her artistic journey in Europe--- first in Copenhagen, Denmark, and now in Zurich, Switzerland.

Chie draws deep inspiration from the diverse cultures and experiences she has encountered. Her work ranges from bold, colorful compositions to intricate monochrome line drawings.

Chie Tokuyama は、日本出身のアーティストです。彼女の創作の旅は、国境を越えて続いており、多様な文化との出会いが作品に色濃く反映されています。

これまでに大阪、福岡、北海道、東京に住み、オーストラリアのシドニーとメルボルンで10年間を過ごしました。2023年からはヨーロッパへと拠点を移し、現在はデンマーク・コペンハーゲンを経て、スイス・チューリッヒに在住しています。

多様な文化の経験や旅した経験などからインスピレーションを受けて描く作品は、鮮やかな色彩で描かれた力強い構成から、緻密な線で描かれたモノクロの作品まで幅広く、感性に語りかけてきたものを表現している。
